In Polynesian culture, Mana is a spiritual quality considered to have supernatural origin—a sacred impersonal force existing in the universe.

MANA is energy and the internal power of any living thing. Hawaiians believe all things have mana. The aina (land), pohaku (rocks), plants, people, gods and goddesses.

This painting is an exploration of what Mana feels like to me. Mana is magic made real. The presence of the spirit world and our life force expressed as one. There is strength and clarity in the figure’s direct gaze.  I want the viewer to feel the pulse of her energy and spirit. I used base layers of magenta and cyan to create a buzz for your eyes. This piece carries a cleansing and empowering influence to the space you choose to display her in.

Maui Wildfire Support

Over the next five years, I will donate a portion of ALL PRINT SALES to the families whose lives were forever changed by the fires.

The Kula and Lahaina fires wounded the heart of Maui.  The community will need assistance for many years.

In the 17 years that I have called Maui home, my artwork was represented by 5 galleries in Lahaina. I belonged to the Lahaina Art Society and participated in shows under the wise and magical Banyan Tree.

Lahaina Town pushed me to grow as an artist and businesswoman. I am forever grateful for the clarity and abundance that was birthed in my life there.
