Intellectual Property Notice

Posting images of the items purchased on social media is ok and appreciated. Please share Christina’s social media handle and always tag @ChristinaDeHoff with her name for artist credit.  Collectors may not reproduce artwork without written permission from the artist. Rights to artwork remain the sole property of Christina DeHoff of DeHoff Inc. This includes the purchase of originals, commissions, prints, and reproductions of any kind. The purchase of any item, original or otherwise, does not grant the customer permission to print and distribute in any form, to mint the piece into an NFT, or reproduce in any way by means of profit and/or otherwise.


Liability

We are not liable for goods once they are in the possession of the collector. It is not our duty to refund, exchange, replace, or compensate by any means for the damage to products that have been mishandled by customers. For example: smudged fingerprints on the white border of prints, tearing fine art prints, damaging works, etc. Please read the product descriptions thoroughly. It is not our duty to compensate customers who do not read the information provided in the product description prior to purchase.  All Fine Art Paper Prints come with borders that are included in the final size of the listing. All Sales are Final  Returns and Refunds will be for items damaged in shipping only. Fine Art Prints, Metal Prints and Canvas Prints are not eligible for return. Our prints are made to order. Each print is made specifically for the customer, we are unable to accept returns. If something was damaged in shipping, we will make sure you receive a replacement. If there is an issue with your order, please let us know. We do our best to offer color-accurate photography of the artwork, but please be mindful that calibrations often vary between devices. If color calibrations are of concern, we recommend viewing the item from multiple devices (desktop, iPhone, etc.) We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.  


Shipping Policy

We do not offer express shipping at this time. If you need a change of address, we must be alerted within 24 hours of purchase. We are unable to change the address once it has left our studio. Please contact us through the contact page as soon as possible.  DeHoff Inc. is not responsible for undelivered packages based on incorrect shipping addresses given by the customer.  Please be sure that you provide the complete and correct mailing addresses at the checkout. Your shipping information needs to be entered in English, or the accuracy of the destination may be lost in translation. Once your order leaves our studio, it is in the care of the postal/ courier service. You will receive tracking information on your order.


Duties and taxes

International orders (non-US, Canada) Customs fees are not included in our pricing and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The studio is operated in Maui Hawaii and is not liable for international import fees on any products purchased. This includes but is not limited to the commissioning of a custom piece, originals, and merchandise. Any applicable taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total. These are determined by the customs agency in the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes while others do not. The customs agency will notify the recipient either by mail, phone, or email to pay these charges so that the shipment can continue to its destination. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any duties, value-added tax, or other similar charges. 


What to Do If the Artwork Arrives Damaged

Please open and inspect your shipment when it arrives. If your piece arrives damaged, you must let us know within 7 days. If you open your piece after 7 days and discover it is damaged, the insurance window may have run out and we cannot guarantee compensation or replacement at that time. Step 1 – Within 7 days of your merchandise delivery date, please email Christinadehoff.fineart@gmail.com to give us your order information. Step 2 - Save the original packaging! Step 3 - Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging. Please email these photos to Christinadehoff.fineart@gmail.com Step 4 – We will contact you to discuss the next steps and make sure you are taken care of.
